Helping You Build Better PCs

Why We Built This

Bottleneckcalculatorspc.com was started to solve a common issue in PC building: not knowing if your CPU and GPU will perform well together. It can be frustrating to buy parts, put everything together, and then realize you're not getting the performance you expected.

We created this tool to help users figure out potential bottlenecks before they spend money. Whether you're building your first gaming PC or upgrading an old one, our goal is to give you the info you need to make a smart choice.

Who We Are

We’re a small team of developers, gamers, and PC builders who were tired of guessing. After helping friends troubleshoot builds and answering the same questions over and over, we decided to build something more useful than random forum advice or outdated benchmarks.

We come from different backgrounds:

  • PC building and testing
  • Web development
  • Gaming and game optimization
  • Video editing and content creation

This mix helps us make tools that work for different types of users.

What the Site Does

Our main feature is the bottleneck calculator, which checks how well your CPU and GPU will work together. But it goes beyond basic numbers. It looks at:

  • What resolution you’re playing at
  • Whether the game or app uses a lot of CPU or GPU
  • RAM speed and size
  • Whether your parts are balanced for what you want to do
  • How well your build will scale for future upgrades

We also plan to add:

  • Build suggestions based on your budget
  • Simple guides for beginners
  • Articles about new hardware
  • Tips on fixing slow or unbalanced builds

How It Works

Bottlenecks depend on what you're doing, not just raw specs. Some games use more CPU, others push the GPU harder. Editing software might care more about RAM or threads. That's why we don’t just give you a single score or percentage. We try to show you what really matters based on how you’ll use your PC.

What We Believe

  • Keep it simple: No confusing tech terms unless necessary
  • Be honest: No bias or ads pushing certain brands
  • Listen to users: We’re always open to suggestions and feedback
  • Stay up to date: Tech moves fast, and so do we

We're Just Getting Started

There’s a lot more we want to add to this platform. If you have an idea, see a mistake, or just want to say hi, reach out. We want this tool to be useful for everyone building or upgrading a PC.
